A Simple URL Shortening IRC Bot (in Ruby)
This is a bot that simply joins a channel (or waits for a private message), and watches for URLs. Once it gets one, it sends it off to be.gs to be shortened, and returns with the shorter URL.
This uses Ruby and Isaac, and the bot is self-contained in one file you see below:
